TRASVER

Space sponsored by Òmnium Terres de l’Ebre

TrasVer – which in Spanish means either seeing through or misinterpreting what is seen – is a fusion of architecture and painting. It is based on a pyramid structure of recyclable cardboard boxes. This acts as a support for different aesthetic proposals that plays with spatial perception on each face.

On the front of the structure is a trompe l’oeil that makes it seem as though a sphere is floating in the middle of the patio. On the sides are dreamlike spaces where the visible parts appear to be painted in blue, altering the perception of the space. Finally, on the back of the structure is a distortion created by a material that partially reflects the elements in the patio.
