DANZA DE ENGAÑOS: LA MAGIA DE LA DUALIDAD

Danza de engaños delves into the realm of illusion, presenting a captivating concept that intrigues the mind. Two individuals stand before a mirror and their gaze transmits a peculiar sensation of helplessness. The convergence of their reflections gives rise to a mesmerizing abstract composition, encapsulating the essence of the concept.

Picture the scene: one person behind the mirrored panels while another stands in front. As their eyes meet, their images merge, blurring their identities. The mirror – reflective strips alternating with empty spaces – amplifies the allure of this unique experience.

This distinctive design, this “Dance of Deceptions: the Magic of Duality”, enables two individuals to simultaneously look at each other and in the mirror, merging into a single identity. This installation embodies the core essence of the architects’ research, where the eagerness to create meaningful projects reigns.

THE AUTHORS

OUT Architecture (Office for Usable Thinking) is a creative studio founded by two young Italian architects: Francesco Nardacci and Alessandro Minotti.

They have worked in different fields, from strategic concept design to technical details, always striving for creative solutions to current needs. They turn intense research and the analysis of practical and theoretical issues into the driving forces of design. The depth of their research points at their inter-scalar and multidisciplinary approach, which is also consistent with the principles of spatial and social environment, local tradition and economic sustainability in relation to aesthetics and functional aspects. They have carried out research projects in Spain, France, Germany and Iran and have worked in international firms such as OMA, Mad Architects, Mecanoo and ACPV Architects.
