INTERFERÈNCIA
Installation developed at the Escola d’Art i Disseny de la Diputació de Tarragona a Reus with the collaboration of the Escola per l’Art i la Cultura de la Diputació a Tortosa.
Interferència is an installation that shows illusion as a misinterpreted version of reality due to a deception of the senses. By generating an analogical glitch, the intention is to make the spectators active players who seek out different viewpoints.
The installation covers the interior perimeter of the patio with hanging repetitions of vertical rectangles that alter the depth and perspective of the space and its architectural details. Visitors find themselves facing their own image, not as mere spectators but rather as protagonists in a visual narrative that challenges their capacity to distinguish between the real and the reflected.
The ephemeral nature of reality is evident in this “interference”, which creates a space that opens us up to reflection and interpretation of the world around us.
