IL·LUDOSCOPIS

Il·ludoscopis is an installation created in a setting that transforms visually depending on the light and interaction at different times of day.

The artists wanted to create a space in which to experience various optical illusions, created by means of large kaleidoscopes that contain pieces of recycled and/or recyclable materials. Moreover, these huge kaleidoscopes are harmoniously integrated within other fixed structures that also bathe the ground in light and colour. At the same time, playing with the “illudoscopes” transports us to the magical world of childhood and we experience the brief illusion of feeling little again.

The wood used in the installation is recovered, basically from pallets, and the translucent material is Reolivar Aire. This material is a 100% biodegradable and circular biomaterial, created by Naifactory Lab, specialists in eco-design and sustainable solutions. Their collaboration and involvement has been essential.
