A lottery creates the expectation of winning a prize. We get excited about the possibility of getting something for nothing or with little effort. Everyone has equal status, as statistically we all have the same odds. At the same time, we are all under an illusion, thinking we will be the winner.

On two sides of the patio, the installation plays with the words il·lús and il·lusió (under the illusion/easily duped versus illusion/eager and excited). It also plays with colours and the repetition of a single element: the raffle ticket books. A humble element made from simple paper featuring typical colours and very basic typography, which is nonetheless capable of creating expectations, hope and desires
