Courtyard of the Episcopal Palace
Located in Carrer Cruera, the building was built in the 14th century. Its facade has undergone many alterations over time, with refurbishments in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Trapezoidal in design, the courtyard is the main core of the building. From here, a wide flight of stairs allows access to the first floor where two galleries are preserved, formed by pointed arches on slender four-lobed columns and capitals decorated with plant motifs. On this same first floor, we find the most remarkable element of the whole construction, the chapel of the Palace which is accessed through a spacious Gothic hall.
