Quimera
In dreams, reality becomes distorted: memories, desires, fears, and symbols intertwine in a narrative that escapes the laws of the real world.
This proposal wants to explore that distortion through the installation of an object at the center of the courtyard. It consists of a water container with a mirrored finish, whose surfaces do not reflect reality as it is, but instead an inverted and altered image.
Suspended from the courtyard’s parapets, an inverted pyramid releases a drop of water every second onto the container’s surface. That subtle impact creates a constant vibration in the water, producing an unstable and distorted reflection, an invitation to question one’s perception of self and surroundings.
