El Eco del Silencio

Encontrando Ma en la Intensidad

In the heart of the garden of the convent of the Siervas de Jesús, an ephemeral installation emerges, inviting an introspective journey into silence.

Inspired by the concept of intensity, this work is an oasis of calm amidst the bustle of the festival. The ventilation duct modules, arranged as welcoming arches, stand as personal sanctuaries where each visitor can immerse themselves in profound silence, away from the external frenzy. In these refuges, a space for reflection is created where the whisper of silence becomes an echo of one’s own mind, allowing for a contemplative pause in the current frenzied pace. This experience evokes the serenity described by the Japanese concept of ma, which refers to the significant pause and the space between elements that provide meaning and depth to the whole.
