Una finestra al cel

The Convent of the Purísima Concepción Victoria in Tortosa stands as a testament to spiritual and historical intensity, a monument that resonates with the fervor of past centuries. In this intervention, the aim is to express this intensity through a gaze towards the sky, concentrating all the force on a single point. The work is designed to bring the outside into the convent’s courtyard, channeling sunlight through fabrics and creating an atmosphere of twilight.

The solar focus is the centerpiece of the work, drawing you in and making you want to see what is hidden within the textile funnel and where this light illuminating the courtyard floor is coming from.
