Habitando el sueño

Habitando el sueño (Inhabiting the Dream) is an immersive urban intervention that invites the viewer to enter the fragmented, ephemeral, and dreamlike nature of human perception.

Conceived as a triangular tunnel, with walls covered in broken mirrors and reflective surfaces, the installation generates a powerful kaleidoscopic effect that distorts reality, multiplying perspectives and creating a constant visual interplay between inside and outside. Each step inside the tunnel transforms the surroundings into a new abstract landscape, where the visitor becomes both observer and protagonist of their own reflection.

The work symbolizes the fine line between the real and the imaginary, evoking the logic and illogic of dreams. As one walks through it, it proposes a sensory and reflective journey that stimulates introspection, fostering a state of expanded awareness. It is an invitation to inhabit the threshold where wakefulness and the dream world converge.

THE AUTHORS

This installation has been conceived and developed by second-year students of the Interior Design program at the School of Art and Design of Valencia (EASD Valencia).

The proposal was selected among the different groups enrolled in the Ephemeral Architecture course, as the result of a process of creative reflection, material exploration, and collaborative work. Building on the knowledge acquired in class and their accumulated experience in creating and assembling installations within the academic environment, the students enthusiastically take on the challenge of bringing their ideas into the public space.

Authors of the proposal: Candela Errando Campos, Constanza Ferrini, Lara Grau Martínez, Eline Winkelhorst.

Supervising professors: Salvador González Vidal, Lara Llop Font, and Mercè Solar Calatayud.
