La magnitud dels sentits

Intensity navigates the seas of humanity just as it does in nature. Emotions and life experiences are oscillating, intangible, and ephemeral, much like the interaction between the organic and the five “physical” senses.

This installation is a reminiscence of the spring explosion and the emotional intensity we experience during the most fertile phase of the solar year, which fades in autumn, the season when the A Cel Obert festival takes place.

The immersive experience guides us through a floral journey in the Calvari, where sensory blossoming is stimulated through the chromatic range, lighting, and scents.

THE AUTHORS

The installation has been designed and developed by the School of Art and Design of Amposta (ESARDI) with coordination from professors Irene Aguilar, Mònica Garcia, Jordi Martínez and Antònia Ripoll

The intervention is the result of the final project of the first year of the Projects and Management of Decorative Works program and was ultimately developed by Elisabeth Roig and Maria Castells. It is important to note that this was a collective project involving all the advanced courses at the center.
